Fulton Street ARTisan's Market

2010 Rules and Regulations

Vendor –

Artists are to sell handmade items only.  These items need to be made locally, sold by their creator.  Artists may be asked to provide proof of items being made locally and handmade.  The FSAM Committee reserves the right to deny any artist or item at its discretion.  Edible items must be pre-approved by the committee prior to sale.  All artists are individually responsible for collecting sales tax and submitting to proper authorities.  Booths are distributed on a first come – first serve basis. Opening Day will be a pre-registered and pre-paid event.  A limited amount of booths will be open that day on a non-registered basis.

Price –

A Booth is defined as two tables/sections, while a Half Booth has one table/section.  A Booth costs $10 for the day, while a Half Booth is $7.  No subletting is allowed.  (i.e. If you run a business with another person, you may share a booth. If your items are of a separate nature, and you provide monies separately, please lease separately.)

Weekly Lease –

Certain booths are available for a weekly lease.  These are leased on a first come, first serve basis.  You must check in to be assigned your number.  (If you are interested in maintaining a consistent booth number, please see the Seasonal Lease option below).  Due to legal regulations, please do not start lining up until 9 am.

Seasonal Lease –

Certain booths are available for a seasonal lease.  (Pricing will vary from Season to Season, as the number of market days varies by year.)  This year’s price is $160 for a Booth and $112 for a Half Booth.  Payment must be made by the last weekend in April to confirm a seasonal lease.  Please make checks out to Fulton Street Farmers Market.

Check in –

Each Vendor will need to check in before setting up their booth.  There are two Check-in Booths on the Fulton Side of the Market.  Weekly Vendors will line up on the west side, while Seasonal Vendors will line up on the east.  Please have payment ready, along with a signed copy of the FSAM Vendor Agreement if this is your first time vending during the present season. (A new signed copy is needed each season). Lines for check in can begin at any time, but check in will not begin until 9:30 am.  Seasonal Vendors must check in by 10:30 am, or the FSAM Committee reserves the right to lease said booth to a Weekly Vendor.  Please notify Artist Relations if you will be absent so that we can serve others in a timely manner.
